Mounting a TV on the wall looks simple — but a TV ripping out of a wall because someone fixed into plasterboard instead of a stud isn't a story you want to be telling. Royale Maintenance does TV wall mounting across Adelaide with proper stud detection, the right fixings for your wall type, and optional cable concealment for a tidy finish.
What's included

- Correct fixings — coach screws into timber studs (plasterboard), masonry anchors into brick, special bolts for concrete or tile.

Wall types we work with
- Plasterboard with timber studs (most Adelaide homes) — straightforward, can hide cables in wall
- Plasterboard with steel studs — needs different fixings, still strong
- Brick veneer — coach into brick behind the plasterboard for full strength
- Solid double brick — masonry anchors, very secure
- Concrete — concrete sleeves or chemical anchors
- Tiled walls (bathrooms, splashbacks) — careful drilling with diamond bits, waterproofing maintained
Cable concealment options
How tidy do you want it? Three options, increasingly clean (and increasingly priced):
- External cables. Cables run down the wall in a cable cover. Cheapest, fastest.
- In-wall HDMI/power kits. Cables run inside the wall through a kit. Most popular option for a clean look.
- Full integration with a power point relocation. Power point installed directly behind the TV (by a licensed electrician we coordinate with). Zero visible cables. Cleanest result.

Common TV wall mounting questions.
How much does TV wall mounting cost in Adelaide?
Basic mounting on a standard plasterboard wall with stud fixing: from $120. Adding cable concealment (running power/HDMI inside the wall): from $180. Brick or masonry walls, awkward access, or large TVs (75"+) cost more. We always quote a fixed price up front before starting.
Can you hide the cables in the wall?
Yes — for plasterboard walls, we can run HDMI, power, and aerial cables inside the wall cavity for a clean look (most jobs need a power point relocated by a licensed electrician — we'll coordinate this). For brick walls, we use surface conduit painted to match the wall, which is much tidier than visible cables.
What wall types can you mount to?
Standard timber-stud plasterboard (most common in Adelaide homes), brick veneer, double brick, concrete, and tiled walls. Each requires different fixings. We do NOT recommend mounting heavy TVs into plasterboard alone without a stud — toggle fixings often fail under TV weight.
Do you supply the wall bracket?
We can supply the bracket if needed — we keep fixed, tilting, and full-motion brackets in stock for common TV sizes. Or you can supply your own and we'll fit it. Brackets we supply are quality-rated to the TV weight with safety margin.
Can you also mount soundbars, AV shelves, and game consoles?
Yes — soundbars below the TV, floating AV shelves alongside, hidden in-wall power, console mounting. We sort the whole entertainment-wall setup as one job.
How long does it take?
